![]() It has 2 SSDs and 2 HDD, the problem drive is the second HDD which is used only for media storage. Has anyone got any idea what could be causing this behavior? A Windows process or some BIOS setting maybe? Changing the drive letterĪgain has worked but it's obviously only a temporary fix. Unfortunately the problem returned the next time I went to use the PC. I put the disk in a different PC andĮventually I tried simply changing the drive letter assigned in Windows and it fixed the issue immediately and was still working after a reboot. Several disk utilities from various manufacturers also found no problem with the disk. I went through all the normal troubleshooting for the drive chkdsk took about 5 days to complete and found no errors. ![]() Sometimes rebooting the PC would temporarily It could not play videos and even opening a folder with a few items in took 10-20 seconds. I've been having trouble with a new 4TB HDD since it was installed. ![]()
